For a long time I've worked on and off creating costumes from images that I've seen. I've always enjoyed the process of bringing people's designs out into the real world and now I've decided that I would like to share that process. What you see here will be the journey from the beginning to the end of each outfit and prop that I have decided to create. I hope that what I do may bring inspiration to others as much as other blogs have brought much inspiration to me.

The Gardens of May is my sanctuary. A place that is warm like the colors of autumn and forever new like the beginnings of spring.

WaiCon is over!

Well...Waicon is finally over now. I have been busy sewing up until the last moments of going into my first sales phase on the Twin Bells stall and it was a wonderful experience. I sold all of my companion cubes in the end and I sold two of my kitty hats so it was a wonderful success for me.

I'm going to be looking into getting business cards for next year and am definitely going to be setting up my etsy store sometime in the very near future. GardensofMay is always going to be a hobby project for me. It's probably never going to be a full time job and I guess the main reason for that is I don't know if I will ever be comfortable charging premium prices for my services and sales because it'll always be fan merchandise that I make...and my life direction is more directed towards KitchensofMay.

I do say that now...but if I get into WAAPA and opportunities open up for me in the future then that goal may change but for now...I'm going to loosely set it as this. And we'll see what direction I end up going in. There are lots of opportunities :3 I can't wait to see what it ends up as.

For now I'm glad that I have quite a lot of people supporting me on this journey and willing to be a part of my projects. And I hope that you all support me from now on.

And I end this post with a companion cube wall.
